34mm STAR DIAL
「34mm STAR DIAL」の文字盤は、2024年にジュネーブで発表された浅岡肇
のアトリエウォッチ「Tsunami "As time goes by"」を、Kurono Tokyoのために
特別アレンジしたものです。浅岡が一文字一文字デザインしたアールデコ調の
フォントと、 8つの星形インデックスが特徴となっています。この星形インデ
ックスのデザインは、わずかな角度の差異が光の反射を左右するため、極めて
高い精度が求められます。そして、ひとつひとつ角度を調整しながら文字盤に
セットされ、細部まで調整を重ねることで、洗練された調和が生まれます。
The 34mm STAR DIAL is an adaptation of Hajime Asaoka’s Tsunami ‘As Time Goes By’
atelier watch, unveiled in Geneva in 2024. It has been specifically tailored for Kurono
Tokyo, featuring high-polished steel applied ‘star’ indices paired with a distinctive Art Deco
font, meticulously designed by Hajime Asaoka himself, character by character. The star
indices are exceptionally challenging to achieve, requiring precise proportions as even the
slightest variation in angle affects how light is reflected. Each index is then individually
applied by hand and carefully adjusted to achieve a refined, harmonious result.
