continuous improvement. From the earliest days of dismantling vintage watches, to teaching
himself CAD, to completing a tourbillon wristwatch in 2009 through sheer dedication and
study, Hajime Asaoka’s journey embodies the spirit of modern independent watchmaking.
At the heart of this photobook is also you — the global community that brings these timepieces
to life. Every photograph and story shared, captured across cultures and continents, reflects
how Hajime Asaoka’s vision extends beyond the workshop, becoming part of personal
